Social Responsibility

The New Canaan YMCA has been listening to and responding to our community’s needs since 1954.  Through programs, facilities, and support, we work to make our community healthier, stronger, and more connected.  Additionally, we also provide our members with the opportunity to give back and make a difference themselves.  Whether through our volunteer program, becoming involved with one of our world service partnerships, or through our Annual Support Campaign, we work to empower our members to be able to join the Y’s cause of making our community stronger.

Financial Assistance

Each year, thanks to donations, we award the equivalent of over $275,000 in financial assistance, ensuring no one is ever turned away from living a healthier, happier life at the Y.  Learn more.
