Current Facility Hours:
The safety of our members and staff is our top priority. We continue to remain up-to-date with State protocols and CDC guidelines to maintain a healthier environment for all. We also remain ready to adapt quickly as guidelines evolve in an effort to provide you with a meaningful, supportive, and safer Y experience.
We would like to thank all of our members for remaining flexible, understanding, and supportive as the Y has continued to adapt this past year. We’re so proud to have each of you as a part of the Y community and are excited to be getting back to the Y experience that you love.

Mask Policies (Updated 2/25/22):
As we’ve done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been closely monitoring and following the guidance from the CDC, the State of Connecticut Department of Health, and the New Canaan Department of Health.
On February 25th, the CDC updated its mask guidelines so that they are now determined based on COVID-19 Community Level (Low, Medium, or High) by County. In areas of Low or Medium COVID-19 Community Level, masks are no longer required to be worn indoors.
Please click here to read more about the CDC’s updated guidelines.
Given this guidance and the fact that Fairfield County is currently at a Low COVID-19 Community Level, we will shift to a mask-optional policy for our facility and our programs, effective immediately.
Anyone who prefers to wear a mask should feel comfortable doing so, and we should all continue to follow current CDC guidance with regard to quarantining and mask-wearing following a positive test or exposure.
Please continue to be respectful of your fellow Y members and everyone’s varying comfort levels with regard to mask-wearing and maintaining distance with others.
If you have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, please know that we are here for you. Financial assistance is made available by our generous donors ensuring no individual or family is ever turned away from becoming healthier and happier at the Y.
