Kimmy Robrock

Assistant Coach Synchronized Swimming

Kimmy started her career in Synchronized Swimming as an athlete. She won her first National title at age 10 and continued to add 13 national gold medals during her career. She was a member of the U.S. Junior National team, Senior National Team 2 and the Senior National Team. Kimmy was voted team captain not only on her club team in California but also on every National Team she was on. Coaching came very natural to her and, at the age of 17, she started helping the younger swimmers. Kimmy’s love for the sport grew even more when she transitioned to coaching.

Kimmy started coaching for the Santa Clara Aquamaids where she led many athletes to National Championships and placed them on National teams. She was the assistant coach for the Senior National Team in 2010 and the head coach of the Junior National Team in 2014 where she led them to a victory over Canada at the age group Pan Americans.

Kimmy is very excited to be at the New Canaan Y where she brings her West Coast flare to the program. She hopes to motivate and inspire the athletes to reach their full potential and dream big!
