Congratulations to the New Canaan YMCA Aquianas who captured Gold in the Solo, Duet and Team categories at the 2019 East Zone Championships this past weekend in Buffalo, NY! Overall, the team was awarded 3 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals, 2 Bronze medals and a host of 4th – 7th place ribbons. All routines move on to US Nationals next month in Riverside, CA. “I am so proud of each and every one of the 31 athletes we took to this meet. There was a new level of fight and dedication from the girls to once again prove that we are a powerhouse in the East. I expect this year’s National Championships to be our best one yet,” said Program Director, Jen Muzyk.
