Healthy Living Programs

Adult Water Activities

Through our Aquatics and Wellness departments, our Y offers programs for adults to become stronger and healthier through swim lessons and group exercise classes in the pool.

Adult Swim Lessons

The goal of our adult swim lesson program is to give adults the opportunity to either learn to swim or master whatever skills they may already have. From beginners who are uncomfortable in the water to intermediate and advanced swimmers looking to enhance technique, our adult swim lessons provide instruction and support in a comfortable and small-class setting.

Class maximum is 4 participants and the minimum is 2 participants.

Please be sure to arrive on time for lessons. All lessons will end at the scheduled time, even if the swimmer is late.

To let you experience this for yourself. we offer water exercise classes taught in our Forese Family Scooter Pool. If you have any questions about Water Exercise Classes or you need help getting started, please contact Kristin Schnitzler at 203-920-1636.
