NEW CANAAN YMCA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: WEEK OF 8/20/17
Girls’ Locker Room
Service Interruption: The girls’ locker room will be closed on Monday, August 21 as we finish work in the showers.
Alternative Service: Girls may use the Dionne Locker Room during this time.
Valles Pool
Service Interruption: The Valles Pool is currently closed through September 1 due to the installation of our new bulkhead and annual maintenance.
Alternative Service: The lap pool and warm pool within the Forese Family Pool will remain open during this time.
General
* While construction is in progress on our new café area, the Simply Delicious kiosk will be temporarily relocated to the room across from member check-in, next to the Williams Room.
Valles Pool Observation Deck
Service Interruption: The observation deck of the Valles Pool will be closed as we renovate the Boys’ locker room and the hallway leading to the observation deck.
Boys’ Locker Room
Service Interruption:
* Boys’ Locker Room: Now closed for renovation
Alternative Service:
* Boys should use the former Women’s Center
While the construction phase of our renovation is incredibly exciting, bringing us one step closer to a more modern, engaging, and supportive community facility, we understand that construction can also become disruptive and sometimes a nuisance.
