Middle School Madness (Grades 5-8) 

(Formerly Teen Night)

Teens come take over the YMCA! Middle School Madness is offered one Saturday a month (except December) during the school year. Under the leadership of the Y staff and volunteers, Middle School Madness offers fun, recreation, and great special events for our community’s youth.

Activities include special theme nights, D.J dance parties, 3-D movies, live entertainment, swimming, working out in the Wellness Center, game room and so much more!

Dates:  Sept. 15^th, Oct. 6th and Nov. 10^th

Time:  7:00-9:30pm

Red Cross Babysitting Certification (Ages 11-15)

Enjoy being with kids?  Take the Red Cross Babysitting Certification course at the YMCA and learn all you need to know to be “the best of the best.”  You will also learn and become certified in First Aid as part of this program.

Lights, Camera Action (Grades 5-12)

Ever thought about what goes into making a film?  Now’s your chance to find out.  This class is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in filmmaking from start to finish:  scripts, wardrobe, production, sound, and more.

Teens Can Cook

Have a favorite snack or meal?  Learn to make all the things you love to eat in a cooking class just for teens.
