There’s so much to do at the YMCA!  Our enrichment programs for school-age children to learn new skills, as well as to build creativity and self-confidence.

Here’s a sampling of our offerings:

Playground Theater (Ages 6-7):  Calling all cast members:  Playground Theater is a great opportunity to develop theatrical skills through games, songs, and self-expression in a non-competitive environment.

Red Cross Babysitting Certification (Ages 11-15):  Enjoy being with kids?  Take the Red Cross Babysitting Certification course at the YMCA and learn all you need to know to be “the best of the best.”  You will also learn and become certified in First Aid as part of this program. 

Lights, Camera Action (Grades 5-12):  Ever thought about what goes into making a film?  Now’s your chance to find out.  This class is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in filmmaking from start to finish:  scripts, wardrobe, production, sound, and more.
