The
New Canaan YMCA’s F.I.T. (Families in
Training) program is designed to strengthen
families by providing opportunities for them
to exercise together in a safe, fun
environment.
After
successfully completing the Phase I exam for
the 8-week Youth Strength Training or Girl
Power classes, teens aged 12-14 will earn a
Teen F.I.T. pass, allowing them to use the
Wellness Center from 2:00-5:00 PM Monday
through Sunday.
Teen F.I.T. pass holders may also
work out with their parent at any time.
Teens may also earn a F.I.T. pass by
completing 10 sessions with a personal
trainer and successfully completing the
Phase I Youth Strength Training exam.
In the spirit of
our Families in Training program, the Y offers
F.I.T. classes at no charge to family
members.
