SENIOR PROGRAM
DIRECTOR (SALARIED)
Looking for a dynamic leader
responsible for developing and
implementing high quality and innovative
programming which is inclusive of
Competitive Aquatics, Sports, Community
Programming and Special Events and other
related programs. Provides liaison to
committee(s) and advisory board(s).
Ready for addressing challenges as well
as implementing innovative ideas for a
vibrant YMCA.
Know-How and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience in a related field.
• Four or more years of program
management experience, preferably in a
YMCA or other not-for-profit agency.
• YMCA Team Leader or Multi-team/Branch
Leader certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications may
be required.
• Ability to direct programs through
supervision of staff, development and
monitoring of budgets, marketing and
public relations, program development.
• Ability to establish and maintain
collaborations with community
organizations.
• Excellent communication skills and
interpersonal skills. Emotional and
social intelligence essential.
• Supervisor extraordinaire. Experience
with supervision and ability to inspire
employees underneath them.
• Change agent.
• Innovative ability to stimulate
progress.
• Ability to expand programs and expand
budget.
• Provide leadership and work well with
volunteers.
• Able to manage multiple projects in
fast paced environment.
• Deadline driven and has ability to
meet deadlines.

be Mad Dog Spin certified and have CPR/AED
