My Playroom is the New Canaan YMCA’s on-site, drop-in babysitting service for children whose parents or caregivers are using the YMCA facility.   My Playroom is for children age 6 months old (and can sit up on their own).  Caring staff provide an environment for play and exploration, games, and arts and crafts.

The YMCA will provide plain Cheerios and water for snack.  Because many children have food allergies, we ask that parents not bring any other snacks.

There is a 1 ½ hour maximum stay per day in the Playroom.

Hours:

Monday - Friday:             8:30am - 1:00pm
Saturday:                       9:00am - 12:00pm

Fees:
Parents using the Playroom must pre-purchase either a 15-hour payment book, or pre-purchase a single visit.

$84.00 = 15 hours
  $6.00 = 1 hour of service per child
  $8.50 = 1½ hours of service per child
